 The purpose of the music education program at St. Mary's is to provide students with a working knowledge of the music language, the basic skills needed to be a contributing member of a performance group, and an understanding of the history and universality of music as an art form.  The program's curriculum is based on the National Music Education Standards and the Minnesota State Music Standards.
